I had a delightful stay at Relais Dante E Beatrice. Mina, the owner, was exceptional in her hospitality, providing a detailed map that guided me through Florence's best attractions. The room was spacious and well-kept, offering a cozy atmosphere. The breakfast with lovely pastries made each morning enjoyable.

I almost loved my stay, but the non-functioning lift and the annoyingly dark hallways wrecked it. For a place that can't even keep a single light on, I expected at least a welcome gift or complimentary breakfast to make up for it. Pretty sure I saw the owner vanish after breakfast too, how inconsiderate!

Bath amenities were sufficient, but no refrigerator in the room was inconvenient during a hot stay. Air conditioning did its job, but the shower was tight, a challenge for someone used to more spacious facilities. Overall, it’s a cozy spot with a few amenities to improve, yet close to excellent dining options and attractions.

Hidden Gem Near the Action
Loved the cozy vibe here! The blue walls and comfy bed made the room feel so welcoming. Breakfast was a bit basic, but the fresh fruit salad was a tasty highlight. The only thing was the bathroom door didn't quite close. Still, with just a short walk to San Marco, it was super easy to explore Florence!
